Rainbow chess set

Handmade chess set.

I built it for myself. However, I also made a few extra pieces. I’m selling them.

The game board measures approximately 38 x 38 cm and is 3 cm high.

The center is cast in epoxy resin. It consists of colorful and transparent squares. The transparent squares have fun candy motifs. The game is entirely handmade. Dipon and Dipoxy products made in Germany were used for the epoxy resin. They are completely safe and harmless.

Specially developed 3D printing materials were used for the frame. Anycubic’s PETG products served as the raw material. The product was extensively processed. It was thoroughly sanded, several layers of primer and paint were applied, and then sealed with epoxy resin. Uneven layers of paint and epoxy were applied to create an aged effect.

Transparent blue was chosen for one set of pieces, and completely transparent for the other.

Since the product is handmade, minor imperfections of a few millimeters may occur. However, these are not serious or disturbing.

I am selling this product privately. I cannot provide a guarantee. I have not tested it in the field for an extended period. However, I am confident in the product. Should there be any problem with the product or if it does not meet your expectations, I will accept a return as long as you return it undamaged and unused within one week (shipping costs are at your expense). The Making of This Chess

This chess set began its journey one evening while we were sitting in the garden, experimenting with it.

We liked the colors so much that we decided to complete it.

Our daughter loved this chess set.

We initially considered a wooden frame. But we weren’t entirely satisfied.

Then we created 3D models and framed them.

This was followed by a lot of sanding, painting, and more sanding. Finally, we applied another coat of epoxy to secure the frame and the chessboard.
